Let’s Be Real: Balance Is a Myth
People love to say, “You can have it all.”I call BS. You can’t have everything — but you can have what actually matters.
Some days my marketing strategy is sharp. Other days, my toddler is painting the dog while I’m on a client call. Perfection isn’t the goal — progress is.
How I Keep My Sanity (Most Days)
Here’s my unfiltered survival guide to running a business as a mom:
Batch content like a boss. I film or write in 2–3 hour blocks while my kids nap or Netflix babysits. (Don’t judge — survival mode is strategy.)
Automate everything. Email sequences, affiliate links, scheduling tools — they’re your digital nanny.
Outsource when possible. Fiverr and Upwork are your friends. So is ordering dinner.
Set boundaries. Corporate me said “yes” to everyone. Business me says “no” more often — and guess what? The world keeps spinning.
Affiliate Hustle Tip
My Amazon affiliate links run while I sleep — literally. Once you’ve built trust with your audience, recommending the products you love becomes an effortless income stream. The trick? Be honest and real. No one wants to be sold to — they want to be helped.
The Big Lesson
Motherhood taught me multitasking. Entrepreneurship taught me boundaries.Together? They taught me freedom.
You don’t need to do it all. You just need to do what’s right for you — unapologetically.
Signed Sarcastically,
Courtney, Bossbabe
